“Handcuff King.” Escape Artist. International Superstar. Since his death 80 years ago, Harry Houdini’s life has been chronicled in books, on film, and on television. And now, The Leanor and Alvin Segal Theatre proudly presents an original musical on the life of America’s first great popular entertainer. Featuring some of Houdini’s most legendary routines, don’t miss this thrilling, entertaining ride through his life - from his humble vaudeville beginnings to the heights of his fame.

At a time when spy agencies frequently co-opted amateurs, Houdini went to London and developed a relationship with a man who would later run MI-5, Britain’s legendary spy agency. For the next several years, the world’s most famous magician traveled to Germany and Russia and routinely reported his findings.
