MONTREAL, June 2004 – Just eight days after opening, the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre of the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts is proud to announce a remount of its hit show, Fiddler on the Roof. Overwhelming box office sales have warranted a special limited return engagement of nine performances. Presented in Yiddish, with English and French supertitles, the large, youthful cast continues to inspire with an evocative tapestry of traditional Jewish music including If I were a Rich Man, Matchmaker, Matchmaker and Tradition. Director Bryna Wasserman is thrilled to be able to offer this late summer repeat run to the hundreds of people who were initially turned away.
