A Word from the Director

Since 1967, the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts has been a vibrant arena for the performing and visual arts in Montréal. Reflecting the city’s dynamic multicultural community, it is one of Quebec’s best-known multidisciplinary centres and a special place for emerging and established artists and their audiences.

The Centre is deeply committed to celebrating the arts by offering a wide variety of programs that appeal to the most discriminating tastes. We design our programs to be accessible to people of all ages who are eager to spark their imagination, hone a skill, enjoy first-rate entertainment or be engaged by a new perspective on the human spirit.

Each year, thousands of Montrealers and visitors to our city connect with the arts at the Saidye Bronfman Centre. The 2002-2003 season, which marks the Centre’s 35th anniversary, opens with the launch of our new website, providing another way for you to connect with us. The site has been redesigned (and renamed!) for easy access and simple navigation, and to ensure that, whatever your particular interest, fresh, up-to-date information about our programs is available at your convenience.

Please browse the site and feel free to share any comments or suggestions you may have regarding the new design and the content. You can e-mail us at info@saidyebronfman.org.

We are grateful to all those who have supported us through our first 35 years, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts for a continued celebration of the arts and your creativity!
